PHP/Drupal Developer | Media Client

We have an immediate PHP Developer position with one of our direct client's based in NYC. This project is massive in scale as you will be part of building some of the largest PHP/Drupal sites which is expected to get 35 million hits/month. Key skills will be PHP programming experience, we already have one of our consultant working with the same client for the past 1.5 yrs which shows job security, good working environment and excellent exposure towards Drupal as well. Also we are one of the prime vendors for this client and we have been in the forefront in their hiring initiatives. Job description – PHP Developer ( PHP Programming experience, a must)
Location: New York
Duration: 6 Months -1 Yr
Work Authorization: Any

Responsibilities:

* Assist in brainstorming and defining user-facing features.

* Architecting, implementing and launching highly-visible, user-facing features.

* Developing features that cater to content creators.

Requirements:

* BS in Computer Science, or equivalent.

* 3+ years of software engineering experience.

* Experience programming in PHP (a must), Java or C/C++ (preferred)

* Experience in database development, especially MySQL.

* Experience with a web content management system like Drupal, Joomla or Alfresco

* Knowledge of UNIX/Linux environments.

* Experience developing and designing large web sites.

* Familiarity with application server, portal, document management, content management, and knowledge management technologies.
