Drupal Admin / Developer | Smartphone Experts

Smartphone Experts own and operate a number of world class Smartphone blogs and communities (such as precentral.net and crackberry.com). We’ve grown steadily over the last few years and have reached the point where dedicated coverage is needed for our communities.

We’ve standardized on Drupal 6 (+nginx) but still have some legacy 5, Wordpress and home grown sites.

So we're looking for a drupal developer / administrator.

This person would help migrate our remaining web properties to Drupal 6 and go on to maintain and manage the sites in a potentially long term relationship. The administrator will be expected to modify and return modules to the Drupal community as well as develop additional modules (for us and the community) as may be the case.

Required skills / attributes:
- everything drupal
- drupal database migration
- work well as an independent developer
- familiar with vbulletin
- good communication

Additional skills (not required, but a bonus)
- vBulletin wizard
- Template design
- Linux system management
- Load balancing networks
- Database optimizations
- nginx Experience

Moving forward the administrator will help guide future blog/community development and direction in a technically knowledgeable environment focused on providing the best content and visitor experience in the smartphone space.

Compensation and time required commensurate with ability and the relationship can be flexible.
