Drupal Developer - Reading, Berkshire £270 to £320 per day | CNS
I'm looking for a motivated PHP developer to join a highly talented, agile team, working on one of the largest drupal sites in Europe. This site is setting new standards in terms of performance and load for a Drupal install, and they are leading the way in terms of their strategies for Server side includes, Caching, SOLR indexing, and the use of the Cloud.
Working here you'll learn a lot, and be expected to contribute a lot too.
You'll need solid experience across the entire LAMP stack, and it would be helpful if you also had some of the following: CSS, XML, xHTML and HTML, JavaScript, XSLT.
Essential: Several years PHP experience. Use of Drupal or similar CMS (MVT) Subversion (or similar source control)
Desirable: Python, Javascript HTML, xHTML, CSS SOLR/LUCENE Command line experience administering Unix/Linux Servers
The position is in Reading, Berkshire, with the office about 6 minutes walk from Reading station. That makes it an easy commute from a lot of places. The team is made up of people from Bristol, to Brighton to London, and beyond.
