Start:
2013-01-09 18:00 - 22:00 Europe/London Posting this up now before we all disappear for the festive season.
As suggested let's go with the 2nd Weds for January, thinking the first week back people might not be ready for a beer or two so close to NYE.
The Llandoger was a pretty good venue for recent meetups so suggest we meet there for this one too. The side room works quite well for a group of 15-20.
The Xmas meal meetup was a great evening, props to Joe for organising.

great, thanks for posting rich. 2nd wed is definitely a good idea, first day back to work might be a bit much - although I imagine ill be craving a pint by the end of the day ;-)

I think I'm going to be missing this one I'm afraid, I'll be back in February.

I agree with all of that! The Christmas dinner was ace, thanks to Joe.
Wednesday 9th is a much better idea too, I'm sure, and cheers to Rich for the post + early warning of this!
I hope everyone has a very merry Christmas :)

Have a great Christmas all!
still coming?
anyone still coming to this? i think we're at something like 15 meetings in a row now, need to keep going!
good to meet up even if it's just a couple of drinks and an early night (simon)
Might actually be able to
Might actually be able to come, somewhat unexpectedly I am not in Leeds. But reason for still being here is a sick girlfriend so if she's still very poorly I'll have to cry off.
good point!
wow, yes. I had actually forgotten about it this month. Thank you Joe.
I will endeavour to pop along for a bit though, of course.
I'm sure many of us are on a new year determination to improve diet, drinking, fitness and finance, as per every year, so one supposes it should be a bit calmer ;-)
(admittedly none of my resolutions inhibit alcohol intake (futile!) but they do involve more development, and specifically on my suite of Drupal projects)
Cheers.
resolutions
i wanted to take singing lessons. but not really expensive 'make me a star' lessons.... if anyone knows anyone i could go to for that?
Singing lessons
Haven't been following this thread to know if that was a serious comment or a pun, but try Dajana Kovac for singing lessons, I've done a few things with her over the years, highly recommended. http://www.dajana-kovac.co.uk/tuition.html
it was serious
although im not sure if ill actually do it.
and that's a good call gavin, thanks - especially since my last years resolution of learning german stalled a bit (i see she teaches that too)
i'll be there hopefully
haven't been for about 3 months.

We're meeting up at the
We're meeting up at the Llandoger Trow on King Street.
I'll be there
The only resolution I've made is to go running, so I can have as many pints as I like as long as I sprint home!
Cheers

Don't think I'll be able to make it tonight, boo.
