Position Details:
Overview
The Drupal Developer will be responsible for all Drupal development on a high profile inter-agency geospatial open data platform. This will include building several site specific modules, as well as integrating existing modules, and connecting to several external databases and data.gov. The ideal candidate will also have strong experience with usability and design.
Primary Responsibilities
• Assist the Technical Lead in gathering Customer Requirements for a Drupal based platform
• Develop documentation and wire diagrams for the platform
• Design, build, and deploy a comprehensive Drupal 7.0 site
Interact with the Program Manager, Lead Technologist, and System Administrator to ensure program schedule and milestones are met
Skills and Experience
• 5-7 years Web design and development experience
• 5-7 years JavaScript experience
• 5-7 years CSS experience
• 2-4 years of Drupal experience
• 2-4 years UX experience and 1-2 years of Drupal Module development
Desired Skills and Experience
• Experience using Amazon Web Services
• Knowledge of Flex, HTML and Obj-C
• GIS experience
• Knowledge of databases
• Knowledge of other content management systems
