This is a contract position through the end of 2013. We are looking for an experienced Drupal developer for our client located in Ann Arbor.
Duties include:
-Design and develop new functionality using HTML/CSS/JavaScript, PHP, SQL, and Drupal module design
-Troubleshoot and mitigate support issues on multiple environments
-Administer, monitor, and upgrade Drupal sites
-Benchmark site deployments, identify bottlenecks, and optimize performance.
Required skills:
-Proven ability developing Drupal websites from initial installation through configuration and theming, including customizations of contributed modules
-Ability to write semantically sound HTML, CSS, and JavaScript using current standards for cross-platform and cross-browser compatibility.
-Ability to write object-oriented PHP code
-Comfortable on a Unix terminal, especially with Apache, SSH, PHP, and MySQL
-Experience with Git version control
-Experience with migrating sites from other platforms to Drupal (e.g. WordPress to Drupal)
-Good understanding of Web optimization principles
-Experienced and comfortable working with virtual teams
-Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
-Solid communication skills and strong customer service orientation
