A leading provider of Drupal expertise in the US (http://drupal.reisys.com), REI has established operations in Pune to provide support to US customers and its local customers in India.
Job Description:
• Responsible for architecting, implementing and maintaining applications, and participating in all phases of the development lifecycle.
• Develop compelling websites and web applications using Drupal, PHP, HTML and other languages
• Turning requirements, design and user interface mockups into functional websites
• Custom programming and web application development to achieve desired functionality
• Working with a variety of clients to assist with requirements gathering and lead architectural design efforts
Qualifications | Experience:
• 4+ Years of experience developing with Drupal
• Experience with large scale Drupal sites, including load balancing and caching systems
• Involvement in and contributions to the Drupal community in form of contributed code to Drupal modules or Drupal Core
• Expert in Drupal, including custom module development, key contributed modules and the core API, CCK, Views
• Expert in PHP, ideally within a GNU/Linux, Apache, MySQL environment
• Proficient in SQL, relational databases and MySQL; skill with tools like phpMyAdmin and the mysql CLI
• Proficient in JavaScript and familiar with AJAX and JQuery
• Proficient in the maintenance and administration of Drupal modules and sites
• Experience integrating free software and third party applications into existing systems
Education and Training
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related field required.
• Masters’ degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred.
