Sage Communications, an award-winning brand communications and marketing firm in Tysons Corner, VA seeks a full-time Interactive Developer with 4 to 6 years experience creating online and mobile experiences. You must be a successful multimedia developer and have a skilled sense of design and typography.
We require an expert knowledge of Drupal, HTML/HTML5, XHTML, and CSS programming skills plus a proficiency in JavaScript/jQuery and XML/XSL. Well-honed print design and production skills in the Adobe Creative Suite are a plus. Our talented team creates a wide range of products from websites, multimedia CDs, mobile apps to videos and online training. We serve a diverse client base from government agencies to corporations and trade associations creating advertising and marketing campaigns that drive sales, awareness, educate, and persuade.
Drupal-specific skills required include:
- Proficiency in Drupal 7 development and custom theming
- Strong front-end development skills using XHTML, CSS, Ajax and jQuery
- Custom module development for Drupal 7
- Experience integrating with Organic Groups (OG) in Drupal 6 and 7 (working knowledge of Drupal Commons is a plus)
- Experience using Drupal's Features module for configuration management
- Experience with web services including SOAP, JSON (experience with Salesforce is a plus)
Additional skills required include:
- Good understanding of user interface/user experience design principles
- Experience with version control using SVN and Git
- Strong PHP/MySQL knowledge
- Motion design, video editing, and Flash/ActionScript proficiency are a plus
