Innovative Drupal Developer
We are looking for an innovative Drupal developer to help us expand the capabilities of our company’s portfolio of websites. We have some big plans and need someone with the technical wizardry and imaginative forward thinking attitude to help us make it all happen. We are looking for someone who can bring not only their technical skills to the party but their fresh ideas to help make our new sites the market leaders.
The correct candidate will have a good grounding in building Drupal based sites and will have written custom coded Drupal modules for specific projects. We will need the right candidate to be able to take finished Photoshop artwork from our designer and create the relevant Drupal based themes and CSS files. Our designer will make the sites look great and it is your job to create the latest cool functions, widget, bells and whistles! We will need to see online examples of sites that you have constructed, demonstrating the best whizz-bang clever sites that you have built, prior to interview.
The role is a full time permanent role based in our rural offices in Berkshire. You will be joining one other designer/developer working for a group of companies on a range of existing and new, consumer and B2B websites. This is a non-customer facing role although there may be occasions where you are asked to assist with customer sites. Salary is dependent on experience so please state your salary expectations on application.
Required Key Skills:
PHP/Drupal (6 & 7) Site build and development experience (2 years +)
Custom Drupal Module development
Drupal Theme Creation (from source Photoshop files)
Excellent CSS skills
Development of ecommerce and integrated marketplace/portal sites
Desirable Skills:
Drupal Mobile Site Creation
Mobile App development experience
Drupal SEO Experience
Linux (Ubuntu) Server configuration/management
Plesk Management console experience
