Senior Drupal/PHP Developer | RealtyJoin

Our social networking start-up has launched a Beta site in Drupal/ PHP/ MySQL. We received some more funding, and are now working on the next release. We need a SAN FRANCISCO AREA (incl. East Bay/ San Jose) developer to assist with this project on a part-time consulting basis. This experienced developer will play a key role on our team for this next release, which will primarily involve PHP-based features. This developer will also play a key role in system administration support in our UNIX environment.

Our social network currently has over 300 users in the Beta, and plans to grow (with the help of some major partners) to 20,000+ users over the next 2-3 months. This role has a good chance of leading to a full-time job, if the developer is interested.

The developer should have the following skills:

-Deep expertise in Drupal, with at least 3 referenceable deployments
-Deep expertise in PHP, MySQL
-Deep expertise in UNIX
-CSS, HTML and Drupal theming expertise
-Good interpersonal skills, smart, and very direct/honest

The following skills are preferred:

-Experience with large-scale Drupal deployments
-Experience with social networking and/or social media

Preference will be given to LOCALS and to INDEPENDENT CONSULTANTS (rather than firms). We will pay $50-100 per hour. To apply, please send your resume, examples of at least 3 Web projects (preferably Drupal) that you led, and your desired hourly rate.
