Drupal Web Developer | Flux Business Communications

We are a small branding agency in Culver City looking for a talented Senior Web Developer who has experience working with Drupal. Our company currently offers our customers a drupal distribution with a number of prepacked modules. Part of the job is developing this offering and fine tuning it.

The position includes maintaining the websites of our existing clients, as well as developing new websites using Drupal.
In addition to this, the developer will be expected to provide light technical support and systems administration within the office.

The candidate must be able to consult with the design team, to deliver the most aesthetically pleasing web-solutions for our clients.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Develop fully-functional Drupal websites based on technical specifications. Features of these websites will include but not limited to: blog, forum, podcasts, rss feeds, social networking, e-commerce, and multi-media/Flash integration.
2. Evaluate functional requirements, recommend efficient solutions, and provide reasonably accurate estimates.
3. Implement Drupal themes and purchased Drupal templates.
4. Evaluate, modify, and implement existing Drupal modules with a solid understanding of the framework.
5. Develop new custom Drupal modules and custom API using PHP.
6. Create code that will integrate data from sites such as YouTube and Twitter as well as interface with API from sites such as Facebook.
7. Perform QA testing on Drupal sites across browsers.
8. Maintain existing Drupal websites and provide customer support.

Skills Requirements:

1. Minimum 3-5 years experience as a PHP Web Developer, with a minimum 2 years experience with Drupal development.
2. Must be able to provide examples of Drupal sites completed in the past.
3. 3 -5 years of solid experience in the use of Javascript, PHP, HTML, CSS, JQuery, and MySQL database.
4. Strong working knowledge of Content Management Systems and database architecture.
5. Demonstrable experience in full lifecycle website development using Drupal.
6. Strong experience in working with the Drupal API.
7. Working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and Flash(W/actionscript 2.0 and 3.0) is a requirement.
