Contract Web Designer for Progressive Political Drupal Project | WinPowerStrategies.com

I'm looking for a web designer in the Seattle area to take some wireframes through to Photoshop comps for me. In the short run, I'm looking for someone who can deliver comps for a single site (a front page and a generic content page) in the next week or two, but ideally this will be someone interested in an ongoing relationship. At the moment we don't need Drupal themers, but a designer with familiarity with Drupal would certainly be a plus.

WinPower Strategies is a new political consulting firm based in downtown Seattle with a generally progressive, Democratic clientele. Interest in progressive politics is not in any way required, but if you've got interest and/or experience in progressive politics and political campaigns, that'd be great.

The project itself is aimed to be a 'Campaign-In-a-Box' to bring advanced CMS and CRM to local and state level candidates who haven't had the money or expertise to utilize these technologies yet. We're building on Drupal 6 for CMS on the front end, and CiviCRM on the CRM side, though we've basically rewritten the entire user interface.

At the moment, we're putting together a single marketing site, which we need comps for as soon as possible, but starting early next year we're going to be deploying this software for numerous clients and we're looking for someone who can be our go-to person for interactive design. Eventually, we'll also need someone to clean up the design elements of the CRM interface.

We don't need to meet in person on a regular basis, but you need to be in the Seattle area and willing to talk face to face every now and again.
