Lightbulb First Consulting, LLC (http://lightbulbfirst.com) seeks a Drupal subcontractor for assistance on some of our web development projects.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of Drupal experience, including:
    • Hook overrides for nodeapi, userapi, and the like
    • Work with Forms API
    • Development with key contributed modules, including CCK/Views, Token, Organic Groups, etc.
    • Custom module and theme development
    • Content migration/imports
    • Upgrades for Drupal core and contributed modules
    • Experience with installation profiles is a plus
  • Familiarity with a wide range of Drupal modules
  • 3+ years of web development experience, PHP/MySQL highly preferred
  • Familiarity with database schemas
  • Some CSS expertise and familiarity with Photoshop is a plus
  • Design skills are a big plus!

Responsibilities

  • Create "skeleton" sites, including basic content types and views
  • Customize contributed Drupal themes to meet client specifications
  • Recommend Drupal modules and custom overrides capable of meeting functional requirements
  • Develop custom modules
  • Perform routine module upgrades

Most work will be conducted off-site, so this position is ideal for a freelancer looking to pick up extra projects. Someone in Boston would be ideal, but remote subcontracting is also possible.
