Job Description:

Resource Nation is looking for a Senior Web Developer to manage and enhance our website, database, and quoting engine. This person will need to be a very efficient and detailed programmer and also communicate effectively with marketing, graphic design, and executive teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage an efficient web infrastructure.
  • Expand our web properties and SEO exposure
  • Work independently and efficiently to complete projects on-time.
  • Work with management to identify new opportunities in the market and to develop new strategies for attaining new market share.
  • Communicate regularly with marketing, graphic design, and executive teams
  • Participate as a member of the team for the overall good of the company

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years web development experience. Highly skilled and experience with Drupal CMS platforms. THIS IS A MUST HAVE!!
  • Advanced knowledge HTML, CSS, PHP, Linux, XHTML, and Javascript
  • Knowledge and experience in advanced SEO practices
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or comparable degree/experience
  • Successful candidate will be a hard worker, not afraid to put in the hours to get a job done, and have a track record of meeting and exceeding goals
  • Candidate must have experience managing large, complex, data-driven websites
  • Experience with development, stage and productions environments
  • Experience using version control to manage website code. Subversion is a big plus!
  • Hands on experience with A/B and multivariate testing techniques
  • Familiar with Google Website Optimizer and development for multivariate testing
  • Experience developing webpages that incorporate SEO fundamentals
  • Proven experience with tableless site designs using CSS.
  • Knowledge of Javascript, Flash, XML, PHP, MySQL
  • Familiarity with the command-line interface and related commands
  • Must understand cross-browser designing and issues (IE, Firefox, Safari, etc…)
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and implementation into websites.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics; interpret data and use to adjust SEO campaigns.
  • Must take initiative, work efficiently and work independently.
  • Must be a team player and willing to work in multiple roles.
