Along the lines of the iVeri module we are writing (http://groups.drupal.org/node/299583), we will also be writing a PayU module for integration with Drupal Commerce.
Is anyone in the community working on this? If so, would you like to work together?

payU
Hey Bryan,
We are currently looking also working on a South African version of PayU. Alot can be taken from this: http://drupal.org/project/commerce_payu
Hope it helps!
UC PayU
I have written an Ubercart PayU (for my last ever UC project, yeah!). I have not asked the client to release it yet, so can't hand it out. And you want to make one for Commerce anyway.
But can just say it is not that involved to use their API. I build it on the lines of my uc_paygate.
Guess I can answer a question or two about the API if you get stuck.

Any success with this?
Hi Bryan
Did you manage to build the Commerce integration for PayU?
I have a client who would like to use PayU, but obviously I am needing a module to integrate it.
As far as I know, the only other options for D7 payments in SA are PayFast and PayGate.
Hi Guys As "commerce_payu"
Hi Guys
As "commerce_payu" has supported release and now community can use this module .
Commerce Module
Hi there,
So I an not entirely sure if the commerce_payu module works with the South African PayU service. I have emailed PayU support to ask.
Either way, I am busy writing a commerce_payurpp module for in order for payment with Discovery Miles. To pay with other methods should be fairly simple.
@Inky - how soon are you needing to implement? We have also written an iveri lite integration (nedbank) but its fairly custom written. I'd have to take a look to see how to make it more modular.

I'm starting development in a week or so, with launch set for January.
Still haven't worked out whether I should use UC or Commerce yet, and leaving some of that decision up to the choice of payment system my client chooses.
If your version is using Discovery Miles, then my client would be super keen to make use of it too!
