contract backend coder for web redesign | AV Rentals

I own a medium size AF Bay Area business that is redesigning their website. We've used a full service web design company for complete branding etc. in the past. this round of changes is more about the operation of the site, SEO, product catalog/shopping cart, navigation, etc (no ecommerce, just product listings). I would like to find someone in the San Francisco area to work with our designer for the actual coding of the site. Our budget is $10k. Starting immediately. I think we will be starting from scratch and porting over data the info from our current site. I believe that drupal seems like the right software, but i am not an expert and am open to other options. I need a complete site with ongoing maintenance as the final product. including fully testing in various browsers etc.
