Montreal Drupal Meetup (don't miss this one)

2007-01-04 21:00 - 2007-01-05 01:00 Etc/GMT-4 We will be getting together Wednesday, April 4th from 1pm - 5pm @ Bande-Passante for yet another meetup.
The difference this time is that you all have enough forewarning and have no good excuse not to show up. ;-)
The other difference this time is that we will structure the meeting in a "show and tell" format. After all, often one of the hardest things in Drupal is choosing which methodology is the most appropriate for any given task. So we'll discuss the challenges we have faced and the solutions that we have come up with resolve them. So while you still have the option of tooling around with your projects (e.g. the stuff you have to do for work), there will be tons of valuable stuff to learn.
Anyway, I hope to see you all there.

I'm a newb to Drupal and thought it would be fun to drop by today to meet some local Drupalers, but can't find the location. Are you by any chance all on the same server, because all of your sites (bande-passante, koumbit, gnuvernement, etc ) are down! :(

Synopsis...
A few people more showed up this time, even though incrn8 and webchick coudn't make it.
Show and tell was interesting, we got demo from new Drupal sites that people in the group worked on (like cabm.net, extra.wikitravel.org and two sites built for last Quebec provincial elections : quebec-solidaire.net and quebecvert.org). Am I forgetting anything?
Discussions about taxonomy, i18n, category, ... and how to drupalize a static site using cck/views/panels/etc.
Next one, wednesday in two weeks. No theme yet, but I wouldn't mind digging into some code/bugfixing. :-)
Darn metro!
Sorry I missed this one - sounded interesting - but some idiot decided to try and stop the metro by jumping in front of it. The estimated time of return of service was 16h55, so there was no way I could make it. Catch you all at the next one (hopefully).
