Proposed: Drupal SCUG meetups cross-post into meetup.com

I propose that the Southern Colorado Drupal meetup groups cross-post into meetup.com, both for greater membership communication and also for convenience, so that one need not check calendars on both groups.drupal.org and meetup.com. Since we already view the monthly SCUG meetings as meetups, this seems like a very short logical leap. :-)

I wasn't aware of the cost charged by meetup.com when I originally proposed it. I would be willing to contribute a nominal fee (say $10), but I would be a lot more comfortable if there was an obvious benefit aside from simply a page on the meetup.com website.

I just started to put our meetings into meetup.com and it would cost $150 for the year. I'm willing to kick in, but I'll need others to kick in also. Thoughts?

I have our meetings all ready to be posted at meetup.com, but I stopped at the payment step. For 6 months, it would cost $72. I'll kick in $10 and ssenator is kicking in $10. We have $42 left. Anyone else want to pledge?
