Senior Developer | Fordela Corporation

Fordela Corporation is searching for an experienced Senior Developer to work in our downtown San Francisco office. We are a fun, creative team, dedicated to providing robust and powerful online video solutions to businesses. We need a motivated programmer who can hit the ground running and produce amazing code.

This is a programming position working on our cloud-based Digital Asset Management (DAM) software. However, we do develop rich media video sites, so a creative eye is a definite plus. In addition to strong programming skills, a basic working knowledge of graphics software is an absolute must.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain innovative web projects of varying size and complexity.
- Creating and maintaining server scripts/tools using PHP and other programming languages.
- Evaluating and deploying Drupal modules with a solid understanding of the framework.
- Integrating Fordela DAM services with Drupal and PHP based front ends.
- Development of Drupal modules that integrate or work with existing modules.
- Development of content and features in Drupal.
- Perform updates, fixes, changes as needed to existing client projects.
- Work with designers and project managers to brainstorm solutions to technical challenges.
- API development and documenting.
- Improving protocols and methods for delivering rich media online.

Specialized Requirements:
- CakePHP or similar MVC framework
- Drupal and Wordpress CMS
- XHTML / CSS
- Javascript / AJAX / JQuery
- PHP/SQL Databases
- FLEX and Actionscript
- FFMPEG / Mplayer
- LAMP

Professional Attributes:
- 3-5 years industry experience with PHP and SQL.
- Motivated, organized and dependable.
- Strong communication skills, willing to work directly with clients.
- Enjoy working in an open, collaborative environment.
- Constantly explore emerging technologies and coding trends
- Meticulous attention to detail including cross-browser compatibility
