[20:21] Ok, Question 1
[20:22] How would you describe youself as a Drupal.org user?
[20:22] I develop websites using Drupal.
[20:23] Are you a regular, Drupal.org user, a expert user, a novice user, etc.
[20:24] are we talking about using the drupal.org website itself, or drupal in general?
[20:24] Drupal.org website in particular
[20:24] i'd say i'm pretty expert at the website.
[20:24] Question 2. How frequently do you visit Drupal.org?
[20:25] every day. off and on all day long.
[20:25] Question 3. How long do you spend, typically, when you visit Drupal.org?
[20:26] perhaps you just answered this, if you want to clarify, or I can take your previous answer
[20:26] i usually spend 5-10 minutes at a time but go back to it throughout the day.
[20:26] Ok, great
[20:27] Question 4. What are your goals when visiting Drupal.org?
[20:27] to look up information, download modules, read issues, and help in the forums.
[20:28] Ok, great
[20:28] Question 5. What is easy to do on Drupal.org?
[20:28] get lost. :)
[20:28] or is that a bad answer?
[20:28] Can you give an example?
[20:28] No, that's a great answer
[20:29] It makes me want to learn more
[20:29] everything's scattered around. for a new user it's hard to know where to go. there's the handbooks, forums, project pages, issues, etc.
[20:29] So navigation is hard.
[20:29] most people go straight to the forums because that's what makes sense to people, even though they should be reading handbooks or filing issues.
[20:30] i'd say it's not user friendly.
[20:30] Is there anything you consider easy to do on Drupal.org? I assume if you are spending minutes at a time, you are gettings something accomplished
[20:31] that's because i'm used to it. i think it's easy to find the actual drupal project and download it.
[20:31] and keep up on drupal-related news on the frontpage is easy.
[20:32] Ok, thank you. Those are good answers.
[20:32] Question 6. We have already begun to address. What's hard on Drupal.org? Is there something you want to add?
[20:33] i think the hardest thing is knowing where to go as a new user.
[20:33] This is because there are some many places to go?
[20:33] and Drupal search itself makes that hard, too.
[20:33] Could you give an example, why Drupal search makes it hard?
[20:34] often not very handy things come up first, like unanswered posts etc, when there's a handbook page that answers the question in detail.
[20:35] ok, that's very useful
[20:35] feedback
[20:35] Question 7. Last question. Is there anything else important about Drupal.org that we haven't discussed?
[20:36] hmm.
[20:36] i think the new breakup of the modules page is harder for people.
[20:37] Could you please explain further?
[20:38] oh, nevermind. i just learned you could "browse by name".
[20:38] maybe i'm not an expert drupal.org user :)
[20:39] so no, nothing else really. although i do think handbooks could use some attention.
[20:39] brenda003: that's a good example, I'll pass that feedback along
[20:39] Ok, do you want to make some recommendations
[20:39] for the handbooks
[20:40] get rid of the outdated stuff, mostly... i don't know what the best solution is, though, since do we remove 4.7 stuff? but there's just a lot of old, old information mixed with new stuff, confusing.
[20:41] Ok, healthy gardening
[20:41] Got it. Thanks for your feedback
[20:41] no problem!
