First, sorry for all the Drupalers around that didn't get to have any meetup for the past couple months; it's just we've been (very) busy and did not get much time left for doing anything but eating and sleeping.
We are planning a meetup this Wednesday at Wiredcraft's brand new office on Jinxian Lu (well, not that new anymore); there is plenty of room for everybody to join. If the weather allows it, we'll be having this meetup on the rooftop of the building, however it is most probable we'll be doing this inside (it's freezing these days). We have a nice meeting room, and we'll make sure to have some fruits and tea for everybody to join us.
Two sessions planned at the moment:
- Packaging Drupal; how to build a distribution with Drupal, from installing Drupal core, to choosing the right modules and finally build a packaged website with features and install profiles. By our very own Makara Wang.
- How to speed up Drupal; why Drupal can be slow and how you can make it fast by using different approaches, including caching. I'll introduce several modules, such as Boost, CacheRouter, Memcache API, Blockcache Alter, as well as the Pressflow distribution.
As usual, speakers are more than welcome, whatever is your level of expertise. Just send me a message.

抱歉让上海的同学久等了。我们的新公司总算是注册下来了。
现在我们是 Wiredcraft，琢品网络科技(上海)有限公司。
这次的 Meetup 定于：2009年11月18日下午六点整，地址是：卢湾区进贤路172号（近茂名南路）、MiND Offices、天台。
我们的 Meetup 准备走一条以介绍和探讨经验为主、兼顾初级和高级应用的路线。
Ronan 将继续上次的话题——“缓存和性能”，进行深入讨论，并介绍相关实际经验。
而我本人（Makara）的主题是：“从零开始，开发具有高度可移植性的网站”。这次是第一讲，将根据时间安排进度。主要内容可能包括：定制的Drupal开发包/安装包；最基本的Module选择和设置；最基本的内容形式的建立方式及移植方法。
