Hey Folks, you got another members. Here's is why I joined. I am new to drupal, and loving it. I have an install that is using OG, and again, I am loving it. I have added a wiki content type, and have started to create some wiki pages... and am loving it :)
then one day I said, "you know, i would really like my wiki pages only to be viewable to members, and not viewable to visitors." So I started looking into TAC, and the other node access modules. And what I found was what has already been described by the founder. My private groups were now accessible to people... argh.... i must be doing something wrong... after playing around with settings for days, and going to the IRC, I came to the conclusion that OG and TAC (and other node access modules) just don't work together.
So I said... ok... this really can't be a issue that nobody else is ever gonna do... it must be common, and if it isn't common, it is gonna be, and more people use both OG and TAC... I I looked around, and found at least one other person that saw this same issue, and apparently had overcome it. I wanna hang out with him!
So here I am. Hopefully, I will learn how to make my wiki pages only available to members, and not destory the permissioning of my private groups, and in the long run will learn how, and then will be happy to document for others how this is done.
Feel free to ask me to do anything documentation, or testing wise... and... here I am.
