Job Description - Developer

Requirements/Qualifications

• 3-5 years development experience
• Experience with Drupal (5.0/6.0 theming & modules), PHP, MySQL
• Drupal experience with Organic Groups, Open Atrium & Services a plus
• Experience with shell environments (bash,tcsh etc) and UNIX/Linux administration
• An exceptional understanding of object oriented programming and relational data modeling
• Experience with HTML, CSS table-less design and Javascript
• Knowledge of and experience with source/version control systems (SVN)
• An understanding of Ajax
• Experience with Adobe Flash/Flex is a plus
• Excellent problem solving skills with a love for technical challenges
• Self-motivated, and able to multi-task
• Takes initiative to be productive and efficient
• Able to function independently and still work well in a "team oriented" environment
• Strong communication skills (both in person and in writing) while interacting with individuals with a range of technical understanding

Responsibilities

• Perform programming and application development as needed on projects
• Collaborate with User Experience and Project Management teams to prototype or brainstorm solutions for our clients
• Manage and mentor members of the development team
• Provide feedback to the project manager concerning project risks, creative aspects, and schedules
• Deliver releases per schedules agreed upon with project manager
• Provide business development support as needed including meeting with clients and creative teams
• On a weekly basis, accurately account for and enter your hours in our time entry system
