[16:31] Question 1: How would you describe yourself as a Drupal.org website user?
[16:31] pretty heavily, everyday.
[16:31] mostly use it as a resource for finding answers to any questions
[16:31] So you are an expert? A developer?
[16:32] Wouldn't say an expert, I'm moving towards developer. I'm accepted as a summer of code student so I will be writing my first module very soon
[16:32] Congratulations
[16:32] thanks
[16:33] Question 2: How often do you visit Drupal.org? You've indicated every day, already. Do you care to describe your usage in more detail?
[16:34] Basically I will login in, see what's on on the main page, news, etc. Then I will check my tracker to see if there are any post that that have been updated that I have commented on.
[16:34] Ok, great
[16:34] Question 3: When you visit Drupal.org, how long do you spend on the site?
[16:35] on average a few minutes, depends if I am looking for a way to do something or fix a bug
[16:35] Ok, can you estimate some times based on that type of visit?
[16:36] normal day, just a few minutes
[16:36] Ok, great
[16:36] if looking for a solution, 10-15 minutes of digging through some post and comments
[16:36] cool
[16:36] Question 4: What would you describe as your goals for visiting Drupal.org?
[16:37] mainly to figure out how to do a task I might not know how to do or find some type of module to do what I need
[16:38] Any other goals, you said you check the home page
[16:38] yeah, I use a lot of RSS feeds, so I queue up that stuff in my reader for anything I find useful
[16:39] Ok.
[16:40] Question 5. What is easy to do on Drupal.org?
[16:41] find out whats new with drupal and find modules
[16:41] Anything else easy?
[16:41] tracking your stuff too, like post, etc.
[16:42] ok
[16:42] Question 6. What is hard to do on Drupal.org?
[16:42] search for something, for instance I really wish search had a by date field, where I could say, only show me nodes posted with the past 3 months
[16:42] ok, anything else hard
[16:43] how to decide on a new module if it's something I would need or if there is something that is better out there.
[16:43] for instance when I started learning drupal, I had no idea if CCK or flexinode was the way to go
[16:44] good example.
[16:44] Last question: Is there anything else important about Drupal.org that we haven't discussed?
[16:45] it would be nice if there was a new modules section, there have been a lot of cool new modules lately that I will hear about through the lullabot podcast or from groups.drupal.org but don't really find anything on the site about it
[16:45] Ok
[16:45] maybe a rating of modules would be nice too
[16:45] Any thing else important to discuss?
[16:46] the only other thing I think would be nice too would be able to track my recent post with maybe an RSS feed
