We're a nonprofit in need of developers for several drupal projects. Here's a few of them. Compensation will be commensurate with experience. Send questions and applications to evasionventures@gmail.com

We're interested in producing an identity game based in an online social networking system. I can provide for interested parties a pitch for a televised version that has been making its showbiz rounds about a week now. I came to this idea while trying to conceive of the basis for an open source social networking platform. The structure of the game is primarily designed to encourage users to develop more profiles of unprecedented depth. Hopefully, this will attract developers interested in building open source applications and mashups that utilize personal data in interesting new ways. A sub-feature of the site will be an area for interested parties to discuss social networking concepts/technologies and collaborate on development projects. If you are interested in working on this endeavor and feel you have the skill sets necessary, please contact me with your qualifications, questions, and requirements so we can initiate further discussion.

SocialCurrents.com is seeking a Drupal developer with experience customizing modules for eMagazines. Specifically, we need help tweaking the editorial functionality to allow for a slashdot style user points system. This would allow for the creation of a two tiered publishing platform in which user suggest ions would play a key role in revisions before the final editorial decisions are made.

www.darkestdays.org is a site attempting to catalog mass human tragedies through time, geography, and causation. The splash page is an interactive flash map/timeline that needs some customization. The icons on the map will eventually link to profile pages with a number of educational resources for each tragedy, including a basic info area, timeline, photo, slideshow, and lists of multimedia items with which to interact. I need help customizing some modules and laying out the site in a pleasing fashion. This project has a fairly ambitious scope that you can learn more about it by visiting the "about" page. However, if you want the idea and its source explained more in depth, you'll either have to contact me or visit my sub-blog for the site.
