I really enjoyed our meetup back in November and I look forward to another. Is anyone else interested?

Another meetup
Yup, I'm still interested, too.
Very Interested
I would be interested
Connecticut Drupal Group
We have just launched Drupal with 83 modules at Yale as a central content management system. We have developed a web standards group that will be responsible for governance of the modules we add (so that we all have the same total offering to pick from), and to develop our user group community. We probably need a few more months to get everything working smoothly, but then might want to expand our community. I am keeping track of the folks who are interested. Is anyone near New Haven?
CT Drupal Group
I'm outside of Danbury, about an hour away.

I am in West Haven and would be very interested in being involved.
Milford Druby
Yes, interested in Drupal group activity in and around New Haven/Fairfield.
Yes, I'm interested.
I was not able to make the last meetup, so I would definitely be interested.

Yes, I'm interested as well
I'm in Fairfield and would like to participate.
let's do it: Hartford anyone?
I got an email from someone asking me to book a room at UConn Law on March 16 for a meetup. Is that date ok for everyone? If that is not a problem for anyone, I'll book a room for that day @ 7 PM.
Is there any chance of
Is there any chance of finding some place more central such as Middletown or Wallingford? Hartford is ok for me but a more central venue may maximize turnout.
Just for the record, we did
Just for the record, we did have two attendees that came down from Mass (or northern CT) for the last meeting.

Location for a meetup
I work in Hartford, live just north of Waterbury. I think we have some east of the river folks, too. I can travel, but admit I'd rather not do 95.
Hartford sounds great
I'm out in Bolton one the Andover/Hebron lines, so Hartford sounds great.
Proposed Meeting on 3/16/10
Hi. I had volunteered to take steps to arrange our next meeting. I apologize for the delay.
Based upon the discussion held at the last meetup, I propose:
(Boston Drupal meets on the first Tuesday of each month. NYC Drupal meets on the first? Wednesday of each month. Western Mass Drupal has met on various Tuesdays and Wednesdays of each month. I will confirm their plans for future scheduling.)
Our agenda include a 30 minute introductions/announcements, question/answer, resource-sharing session among ourselves - followed by a 60 minute presentation including Q&A.
The meeting location at the University of Connecticut School of Law in Hartford was superb; buzzdecafe (http://groups.drupal.org/user/10635) said he could arrange future meeting space for the group at UConn; I have asked if he could arrange space for 3/16/10.
Does this sound good? Does anyone have any suggestions?
Would anyone be interested in giving a Drupal presentation at our next
meeting or at a future meeting?
What topics would you be interesting in having presented?
Cheers,
Mark

Hartford on 3/16 Sounds Great
I'm from northwest CT, out in the Winsted/Torrington direction, so the Hartford location would be GREAT for me too. Looking forward to it. Thanks for taking the initiative to set this up. Phil....
I'm interested
Hi, I'm in Branford and would be very interested!

Drupal presentation
We developed an unusual "front end" to Drupal to make it behave like Wordpress, so that people could check off a list of "features" they wanted, and those features would represent the totality of modules that are needed to accomplish that feature - such as
Photo Gallery - which requires about 4 modules to be enabled. We are calling the service SimpleSite, and it is intended for administrative assistants who are not tech smart to be able to get what they want by merely checking boxes on a list of features.
Would that be interesting?
Drupal Developers Looking for Short Term Work?
Are any of you good Drupal dudes looking for short term (a couple of months) of work - daytime or night time. We have a list of over 35 projects already and are not staffed to handle the volume yet. Let me know...
I consider myself a newbie,
I consider myself a newbie, but if there is anything I can do then I would be happy to assist. If you are interested I can give some examples of where I am at, and what I am working on offline.
I too would like to go

Meetups, Other Groups and Beyond
I'm interested in any CT Drupal Meetups. Some folks had asked me about organizing one, and I thought I should check here first to see what is going on.
There are a few other meetings being planned right now. Tentatively, I'll be leading a discussion on Drupal with the Southern Connecticut Open Source Users Group on March 21st in Wallingford. It would be great to get a bunch of other Drupal folks to show up.
In addition, a group interesting in doing a Podcamp here in Connecticut has just formed. If you're interested in this, let me know.
In terms of other things, I've been doing Drupal since 2003 and may have some time for Drupal projects is people are looking.

+1
Am definitely interested--Hartford is pretty convenient--and Tuesday March 16th sounds great. Thanks.
Meetups & Drupal activities in general
I'm very interested in attending meetups in CT. Hopefully there will be an agenda with substance to compensate for the travel time. I'm also interested in finding Drupalers in the Interstate 84 corridor between Cheshire (CT) and Bruster (NY) to explore the formation of a Drupal group that can be based somewhere in the middle (Danbury, Southbury, ... whatever) or if so desired meet locations are voted up by the attendees at each meet.
My interest is to find people who:
1.- administer multiple drupal sites and share the upgrading pains and techniques to minimize these pains and speed up the upgrades safely.
2.- Develop themes and use the combo of CCK+views in conjunction with other contributed modules.
3.- ecommerce (ubercart) users
4.- SEO techniques
4.- and then, last but not least ... everything Drupal!
Should you be interested please contact me.
