Stay-at-Home Drupal Mom/Dad? | Careers In Common

I am working on launching a website that will help professionals and employers learn about and adopt non-traditional work arrangements such as part-time, flex time and job-sharing. www.CareersInCommon.com will launch this fall with a content hub/"Learning Center;" with the long-term goal of adding a job board. The site will be targeted mainly to professionals who do not want to work a 40 hour, 9-5, Monday-Friday work week -- moms of young kids, people caring for disabled or elderly family members, people transitioning into retirement, entrepreneurs, people going back to school, people volunteering for non-profits/churches, etc.

I am hoping to find someone who can take an existing Drupal add-on module for job boards (like http://drupal.org/project/jobsearch) and tweak it to provide additional resume/profile fields, and enhanced search/match functionality.

Is there a stay-at-home mom or dad (like myself) who is itching to do something productive when their kids are napping ;-) who can help me with this part of the site? I know there's got to be someone out there with a little time on their hands, who believes in the altruistic benefit this site will provide to people like us around the world.

Adding 50 groups to your post is clearly abusive.

Sorry. I am a newbie as of an hour ago. I retracted all but the most relevant group.

Please don't spam us with non-targeted posts

I, too, believe in altruism, but I don't support spamming so many groups on this web site with something that doesn't belong in 99.9% of the groups you included. I see you've only been a member for a little over 1 hour, so I'll assume you simply didn't know any better.

Some folks subscribe to receive emails when people post info on this web site, and we don't appreciate getting non-targeted emails or reading about things that don't concern us. That's part of the reason behind groups - people can find their niche and not be bothered by groups they have no interest in.

Please pick the top 2 or 3 groups your post pertains to and omit the rest. Thanks in advance.

Sorry, again

This is my first time navigating drupal.org. As soon as I made the post I could see it was not appropriate. I also didn't realize that the post would go out to each group via email until you mentioned it (thanks). I really apologize. Again, I tried to correct it by limiting only to the 1 most appropriate group, but I suspect that won't erase emails that may have been sent out to group members...

Only folks that have selected to receive email from specific groups will get your email.

The main thing is that you took corrective action. Thank you and good luck with your project!

I'm a relative newbie and need to start focusing on projects I might actually get paid for, but as I am a member of your target audience :-) I would be willing to help out. I don't know php but I can at least test features.
