Training (free or commercial)

Learn how to build a website with Drupal from top to bottom. This week-long Drupal class is divided into three parts: site building, theming, and module development. You can register for all five days, or just the days of interest to you.

  • Site Building & Architecture (Day 1) - Learn about how to structure your Drupal 8 site and take advantage of modules and configuration techniques.
  • Theming (Days 2-3) - How to create themes from scratch or using the Bootstrap framework. Learn how to use Twig templates, set up libraries to add CSS and Javascript, and use other Drupal 8 theming techniques.
  • Module Development (Days 4-5) - Learn how to create custom modules for Drupal 8, how to use the Drupal Console to help generate your code, and get an understanding of object-oriented programming for Drupal.
  • Full 5-Day Course

All the trainings are hands-on, class sizes are small, and you'll get lots of time to ask questions and get one-on-one help.

Hey pixelite,

When I went to check the ticket it says October 1 but your post says May 14. Could you please confirm if this training session is coming up in Toronto - May 14-18 or has it been moved to Oct 1-5.

Thanks!

Hi Manoj, Sorry for the confusion! We didn't have enough signups for May, so we decided to move the course to October.

5 Day Training in Princeton, NJ

I was about to sign up for the May 14-18 Toronto training too, and was super disappointed that it was cancelled. Now I signed up to attend the Princeton one because we can't wait until October 1 and timing is not right for us. Will this one be cancelled too if there are not enough enrollment? I am booking my airplane and reserving the hotel from the west coast. I would like to know if this training is likely to be cancelled as well? Also, will the majority of the attendees be from Princeton University? Thanks! (possible to bring the Toronto one back? :)
