We are looking for a talented Drupal developer to help us launch a new website and manage the site post-launch on a contract basis.

We plan to use Drupal as the main CMS along with the Drigg functionality - and need someone with expertise in this area.

Some requirements included:

* Installation of the Drupal/Drigg code base

* Customization and Coding of our Drupal/Drigg Theme (we will provide the PSDs)

Ubercart Shopping Cart - Help : configuring the store

I have installed the ubercart and associated modules for that.
After reading the users help, Iam a bit confused with the configuring store and basic product creatuion.
Can any one who has set up a cart after installing module guide me to add some products in the category for shopping to users.

Iam confused with the step by step procedure to set up product class, product manage attribute,option,
assigning attribute to products, manag eproduct class, building product catalog, product kit and so on.
Are these mandatory to set up a cart.

i want to set up a shop similar to http://livetest.ubercart.org/catalog.
Is the product kit and other stuff required to set up a shop.
What are the minimum factors required to set upa cart like http://livetest.ubercart.org/catalog.

I searched the forum and even posted one forum topic too, but neither found any fruitfull information nor I got response of the post, which is why I'm posting this here.

I have two secondary tabs created with Panels and for those secondaries I have one primary local task which is default local task too.
Now, I want another Primary local task with no children.

I tried hard, also with hacking the code, but could not do that.

Has any one here any idea for this?

I am using Drupal 6.4. When I tried to backup my MySQL database with phpMYADmin, it was giving me following erors:

In phpmyadmin, export database screen:

export.php: Missing parameter: what (FAQ 2.8)

Can you please explain me what is this and how to solve it?

An idea was popped in my mind when I was in bed. Is it worth using multi-sites concept with multi-version of Drupal? Like 5.x and 6.x, both share some user related tables and have different db for rest. This is just like the interface we have for http://api.drupal.org. As much as our
hypothetical multi-version concerns, we can provides some apparent difference related to working of both the versions, new features, etc.
I have your say about is it worth thinking in this way?

There is module named wizard in CCK.My requirement is similar to that one.I have multiple forms and i want to allow user to add as many forms as they want (in new page not in same page)and at last to submit the form.

Wizard divides one form in different parts but i want different form in new pages with single submit at end.

OSSCamp Delhi has annouced their summer edition on June 21, 2008. This is a barcamp focussing on Open Source Technologies. Last time there were 6 sessions on Drupal in this camp. I was thinking of carving out a full fledged camp focussing on Drupal. The organizers are willing to give us a dedicated room for the same.

We are looking forward to redesign our Intranet and migrate it to Drupal. (There are nearly 10,000 documents already in the existing Intranet database ). We already have a usability expert who will do the visual design and click through mock up model of the new Intranet site which then has to be built with Drupal. We need someone who has thorough understanding of drupal to adapt it to our requirements. The person should have experience in groups, workflows, permissions etc as it is an Intranet meant for community building and collaboration.

DrupalCamp is coming to Bangkok!

We will hold the first-ever DrupalCamp in Thailand on Saturday, May 24th, at the conference facilities of Inet, on the 13th floor of the Thai Summit Tower, Petchaburi Road, just east of the Ratchadaphisek / Asoke intersection.

We will also be running a full-day "Intro to Drupal" track that will cover everything from setting up a basic install to intermediate skills of customizing with modules, CCK and Views.

The event will be barcamp-style, which means that it's open to everybody, but everybody should come ready to participate. Be prepared to talk on a topic of your own choice as well as listening to, sharing with and learning from other people interested in Drupal. Topics are not set before hand--so we set teh agenda on the day of the event so everybody can propose topics and vote for the topics that interest them.

If you are a web developer with even the slightest interest in Drupal we encourage you come come. If you are already using Drupal, you are not going to want to miss this event.

This event is free and open to all. We do ask that you register in advance so we have an reasonably accurate estimate of how many people will be attending.

Contract Drupal Theme/Site set up | Undisclosed

Looking for a drupal themer/developer to help with a project with tight time lines. Go Live date June 1st but must have lead time for testing and tweaking.

Generally this should be an simple project for a seasoned professional. Would like a rough quote and suggestions/ideas.

Requirements:
*2 Sites with unique URLs same layout and theme just different images (possible multi site?)
*Create simple theme with drop down navigation, theme based on sliced and prepared images that will be provided - (mock ups available contact to view)
*Custom membership fields required with need to migrate existing membership into new site (20K + records, have excel/CSV/SQL format)
*Need to generate Membership ID for new members registering through site, requires notification to print membership cards. Need to manage membership numbers that will come from online sign up but will also be generated at physical locations. (Possibly random generator? 6-10 characters)
*Would like to customize welcome email/communication emails for each site "if multi site"
*Need to generate "promotional email" with web coupon, date/time stamp, editable by admin staff (HTML and Text based)
*Opportunity for entering in new members manually by administrative staff
*Would like opportunity to use single membership database between sites
*Need to integrate google maps for each physical location ideally with Postal Code look up in member profile to find location nearest member
*Create block to contain flash with ability to update by staff (bottom block just above footer) Flash provided
*Some customization of membership profile page required

Generally I have put in most of the requirements. There may have been something that i missed but either I can take care of these or we can talk more about it. I have a fair amount of experience with Drupal but do not have the time for this project. I can take care of some of these requirements if needed. Would like to find someone that would continue offering contract work moving forward I have many opportunities in the pipeline.

References preferred as well as out line of experience and level of drupal/PHP/Development skills.

I and some colleagues are starting a new consulting firm specializing in Drupal, specifically with a focus on install profiles, Rapid Application Design and Information Architecture. We're still exploring different opportunities to find our niche in the drupal world, but we've already got a couple of contracts starting and need some help.

Specifically, I'm looking for people in the New Delhi area (that's where I am now based), who have proven experience in the following:

Application configuration - This means being able to take a messy email from a client, and produce easy to maintain and well documented panels, views and content types. Must have experience with panels 1, should have experience with panels 2.
Light development - Most of us our heavy coders, so we don't need a lot of heavy lifting. However, you should be able to at least create blocks, do light theming tasks (not necessarily design), and deubg stuff yourself
Bonus: Light Linux administration. If you can setup drupal instances / create databases, etc it saves us the trouble of doing it. :)

College degrees don't mean anything. Just need a portfolio of work, some references and an hourly rate / # of hours per week available.
