We are seeking a Drupal Engineer for our Direct Client.

Location: Brisbane, CA
Duration: 3 Months

Responsibilities:
• Act as the primary Drupal Technology Expert for a team of engineers working on Drupal Integration Projects.
• Develop Drupal modules that integrate web services and custom applications, and services for clients who are using GameSpy SDKs and custom technology in conjunction with Drupal.
• Work with Creative Design agencies to realize the creative vision of the website via the Drupal application framework.
• Interface with external clients, consulting companies, internal teams, and other departments to provide analysis, design, coding, documentation, and overall direction for online integration projects related to Drupal.
• Provide analysis, recommendations, and solutions to improve performance, security and scalability of software and services hosted in Drupal environment.
• Required to be able to work flexible hours, occasionally rotating shifts as necessary, working weekends, or working off hours to meet client commitments.

Education:
A Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience:
• 5+ years experience in general web development, with 3+ years experience with LAMP, and having at least 2+ years experience developing for, installing and configuring Drupal websites.
• A Sr. Programmer on the LAMP technology stack with extensive programming in the Drupal application framework. With knowledge of module development, the dos and don'ts in Drupal and having familiarity with Drupal's top modules, Views and CCK.
• Extensive experience working with Web Services, including knowledge of SOAP, REST, JSON, XML and knowledge of the Drupal services module and how to use it.
• Experience developing for high-volume websites and web services with experience in technologies and disciplines associated with online systems: Web & Application Servers, Virtualization, Performance tuning, Encryption/Security, Load Balancing, and Cloud Computing.

Skills:
• LAMP and Drupal programming experience with extensive experience building and installing Drupal modules.
• Solid database experience w/ MySQL and other common DB platforms (MS SQL, Oracle, etc).
• Web based technologies including HTTP, SSL, SOAP, REST, JSON, XHTML, CSS, AJAX, JQuery.
• Excellent HTML and CSS coding & layout skills.
• Dedication to teamwork and professionalism with the ability to handle high pressure situations.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies including SCRUM and XP.
• Experience writing functional and technical requirements documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of web hosting platforms. Specifically those common to Drupal deployments. Experience working in large scale environments, including performance and scaling experience in a multi-tier environment
• Knowledge of Social Networking platforms, and how, why and when they should be integrated via Drupal.
• Knowledge and experience with the Microsoft technology stack including C++, C#, ASP.NET, Visual Studio, Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, Microsoft Web Services, Windows Communication Framework, IIS
