Start:
2018-10-26 08:00 - 18:00 America/New_York
Event type:
Drupalcamp or Regional Summit

DrupalCamp Ottawa is back again in October 2018. As usual registration is FREE and we're hosting it at the University of Ottawa's SITE building on King Edward avenue.

This year's topics will include lots of Drupal 8 development and site building alongside deep dives into the latest Drupal 8 has to offer. We'll also be covering topics relating to Drupal.org including the move to GitLab and some Drupal Association election results. We'll also be including sessions on content strategy, web design and managing web projects.

But we're looking for more sessions on other topics such as accessibility, headless Drupal, multilingual site builds and more. If you'd like to present at the event feel free to submit your session ideas as at https://drupalcampottawa.com

If you'd like to sponsor the event you can also find information about that at https://drupalcampottawa.com/#/sponsors

Big thanks to all our sponsors and a special thanks to our platinum sponsors Coldfront Labs Inc. and OpenPlus for helping make the event possible.

Nice site!

I started submitting a session proposal, and noticed that there's a field for uploading slides. Would it be possible to add them later? Typically this happens after the presentation.

Or if we do upload a file now, would it be possible to change it later?

I'm also wondering if not providing slides until after would disqualify potential presenters.

I tried to upload my session

I tried to upload my session but have 20mb and only 10mb are allowed, how I can send it now?

For slides, you can resubmit

For slides, you can resubmit and we'll take your latest responses. Also I've updated the upload size so your 20mb slides should work now.

Thanks.

New session form and sponsor forms

We've finished updating the backend Drupal 8 site and it now accepts the session and sponsor submissions. Use the updated links on https://drupalcampottawa.com to propose a session. You'll create an account and be able to submit your session there.

If you've already submitted using the google form we'll move that over for you and create an account.

For the slides we'd prefer if you simply link to a Google Drive or Dropbox location where you slides will be available. If you need to upload them to the Drupal site we'll enable that at a later date.

For sponsorships we've also updated the links to point to the Drupal based form. If you run into any issues please let us know.
