Your Code is Terrible!
New Developers have forgotten the importance of semantic HTML code and how they can create better user experiences and make websites more accessible utilizing it.

In this presentation, we will explain the importance of semantic code, how to use it, and why it's so important to understand as developers. We’ll explore adding tools to our toolbox that help us create semantic code in Drupal and methods to test code for accessibility compliance.

About the speaker:
Jayson is a developer and graphical and user interface designer at UCSF's IT Web Services. He has over 20 years working in web and print, with 10 fun-filled years of Drupal experience. He likes making ice cream and posting images of his dog, Zoey, when she'll stay still long enough.

About the sponsor:
Pantheon (https://pantheon.io/) is the website operations platform top developers, marketers, and IT use to build, launch and run all their Drupal and WordPress websites.
