User group meeting

This month we are trying something a little different - several DruaplSouth presenters will tag team their way through brief introductions to their upcoming presentations. We aim to get around 10 to 20 presenters give a five minute intro. It should be fast and furious and a sure way to get your Drupal fix. This is a great was to find out about what is coming up at DrupalSouth and confirm which sessions you would like to attend.

The meeting will be recorded.

DATE CHANGE Please note that the date of this meetup doesn't follow the usual pattern of every third Thursday of the month. It is being held a few days earlier than usual.

Lightning introductions

Each introduction will cover the following areas:
- the problem space and what the presentation addresses

  • the main technologies and approaches discussed
  • who would be interested in it
  • what will they get from it.

These lightning intros will NOT cover the whole session - they are intended to whet your appetite and help you decide which sessions you want to go to. If you want to know all of the gory details you will need to go to DrupalSouth to find out.

DrupalSouth is the premier Drupal event for kiwis and aussies. You can register for DrupalSouth here:
https://drupalsouth.org/events/hobart-2019/register

Five minutes will be allocated to each intro. If time is left over, questions can be asked.

This Meetup will be largely virtual, although there still will be a meetup in the usual location with beer and pizza. Please come along for what will probably be the final meetup for the year.

Presenters

If you would like a five minute spot please leave a note below in the comments with a URL to the presentation on the DrupalSouth site. We will then slot you in.
