Expert Drupal/PHP Developer | Florida Hospital
Florida Hospital’s Experience Network is looking for one contract-to-hire Drupal expert to join our growing web team. The Experience Network serves as the internal interactive agency for the Florida Hospital system, and we work primarily within the Acquia Drupal framework. We have an awesome new office in Altamonte Springs, and we are a flexible, creative bunch. The right candidate will be available to work on-site four days per week and will thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment. Desired Technical skills include:
• Expertise in PHP, JavaScript/jQuery, XML, Ajax, D/X/HTML, CSS, MySQL, web standards, and developing RIAs
• End-to-end development experience within the Drupal Framework
• Actionscript experience a plus
• iPhone / Mobile app development experience a plus
• Knowledge of hardware and related infrastructure
The right candidate will ideally possess:
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent web development experience with an interactive agency or web development firm
Other Job Responsibilities:
• Prepare written technical specifications that include time estimates and required technology for assigned development projects with input from the project manager and/or director
• Communicate appropriately and effectively with project managers, co-workers, customers and supervisors
• Maintain awareness of project status and any potential delay, situation or concern that may affect the outcome of the projects
• Demonstrate the ability to work on multiple projects as required
• Adhere to coding standards defined by technical management
• Troubleshoot issues as they arise and implement fixes in a rapid manner
• Establish responsible deadlines and personal work plans
