The Company
GameSynergies is a new Internet social media company, providing advanced server side social media applications to specific industries. Built on Web 3.0 technologies and principals, GS applications are highly customizable and adept at responding to the users generated requirements at the individual, group and population levels.
The Opportunity
GameSynergies is looking for a responsible, hands-on Chief Technology Officer to lead our team but one who is equally a badass Drupal/LAMP developer. This is an ownership/sweat equity opportunity in a privately-funded, face-paced and exciting start-up with a very strong USP, proven proof of concept and on the verge of hugeness as a result. We need someone who is not only adept at developing elegant solutions, we also need that person to have a good business sense as well.
Qualifications:
:: Ten plus years in the web development industry actually slinging code. This means you are completely comfortable with web standards compliancy, PHP, Apache, MySQL, JavaScript (and AJAX), XML, HTML and CSS. This is not an intern or after-school position.
:: Achiever – you say what you do and then do what you say.
:: Two years minimum experience with Drupal as a backend developer. Sorry, Drupal theming work is not enough.
:: Experienced Drupal module developer. Please share what you’ve done.
:: A number of Drupal projects that you actually did development work for – same request.
:: Solid communication skills, solid writing skills and solid people skills.
:: Someone living Stateside, preferably California. We need to be able to meet up easily or at least semi-easily.
Highly Desirable:
:: Hardcore MMO gamers, any game but preferably intimate knowledge of the current most popular MMO games
:: OS-independent – most of us use Macs but also use Windows. We need flexible people.
:: Solid social networking development experience.
