I have created a wikipage comparing different methods how to duplicate Drupal sites focused on social functionality. I noticed that wikipages cannot be commented, so this discussion page is for that purpose.
In the table on the wikipage I'm comparing three different methods which help duplication of Drupal sites: database dumps, installation profiles and Features module. The last column is for the combination of installation profiles and Features which works the best on most cases. I'm still working on this, so there are some "unknown" cells which I haven't tried yet, or I don't have time to try, so it would be nice to hear if someone has experience on those.
