Summary:

Afilias USA Inc. seeks an experienced PHP/Drupal developer to join our team on a 6-month contract basis. You will work closely with a team of web developers to maintain and improve a suite of Drupal websites and other web applications. The Web Group is part of the Application Services department, a customer-focused team that serves internal and external customers. The position is based at our Philadelphia area (Horsham, PA) office. You may largely telecommute, but you will be required on-site approximately 20% of the time (one day per week) for meetings and administrivia. This could become permanent for the right candidate.

Responsibilities include:

Maintenance of Drupal websites
Design, code, and test technical solutions
Create and document new processes and standards
On-call duties on a rotating bases

Required:

Expertise with PHP 5
Experience with any RDBMS system and with LAMP (or LAPP) stack architecture in general
Thorough understanding of HTML, CSS, Javascript/AJAX, and how they work together
Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
Enthusiasm to set and meet goals with a minimum of supervision
Passion for learning
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
