Who you are:
Reporting to the Operations Director, the Operations Manager is responsible for supporting the technical infrastructure, including hardware and software, of artist websites. Candidates should be able to collaborate and coordinate with team members, work well under pressing and changing deadlines, and have a special knack for problem-solving with a good sense of humor.

Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and maintaining web servers for Dev, QA, and Production environments
- Provisioning new development sites in a Drupal multisite setup
- Inspecting Drupal sites for technical QA before launching on production servers
- Migrating sites between dev and production environments
- Assisting internal and external developers with technical infrastructure related issues, being able to “jump in the code” when needed.
- Developing and maintaining tools to automate tedious procedures and/or to aggregate distributed data
- Documenting workflow, environment setup, and process and enforcing standards with external developers
- Researching and developing creative new tech projects

Primary Qualifications:
- Unix/Solaris/Linux environment, Bash shell scripting a plus
- Apache 2 - setup and configuration, .htaccess overrides, mod_rewrite, DNS
- MySQL 5 - administration and optimization, phpMyAdmin
- PHP 5
- Drupal 5, 6 - multisite and multiserver setup with load balancer, NAS, RAID
- Subversion - repository setup and administration, merging/branching, roll backs
- XHTML/CSS/Javascript - semantic and valid markup, SEO-friendly, AJAX
- XML - web services including RSS, XML-RPC, SOAP
