Drupal Theme Design/Development | Universe Institute

It's time for a shift in consciousness. Be in sync with the universal patterns, principles and practices. We, as SF/Bay Area located non-profit, are looking for a drupal skilled theming/designer for a short term contract position help us to develop and implement a new theme and design for several websites we are planing to implement this year. If you are willing to work pro-bono that would be great, we believe in fair exchange.

We need someone that can work with our technical and marketing teams to develop our theme. We have have, will have a design layed out and photoshop and need to implement that into a Drupal theme. We have technical staff, located in Washington DC area, that can support and tweak PHP/CSS coding but need help creating the professional CSS styling, cross browser ready, baseline theme.

Drupal theming expertise is a must at least 3 of our sites are Drupal based. We also have 2 Moodle based online schools and some ability to theme on those platforms is a plus and could lead to more work. Javascript, JQuery, expertise is a plus as we will use JS for any of our animations, not looking for much Flash experience. Technical staff is available, schedules permitting, for some support in php and jquery areas.

- Take Photoshop Graphics design and Implementation in Drupal Theme

What you should already do:
Have an excellent eye for detail
Be able to help translate spoken vision into working design.

Mastery of CSS and HTML
Mastery of cross browser markup
Some PHP (Drupal integration) and Jquery (Design effects)
