Drupal Developer / Consultant / K-pop Jedi In-Training? | Soompi.com

We are looking for someone with one to three days a week availability (flexible) to help us crank out some new features (some custom programming and implementation) for www.soompi.com with our CTO who is located in lovely Irvine. You don't have to meet and work with him every day, but some of the time would be nice. We expect the part-time engagement to last for about 3 to 4 months with possibility for extension or increase in time in the future.

Soompi is the largest English language site for fans of Korean pop music, dramas and movies - I'll say it once again cause ppl tend to get confused - ENGLISH language site for fans of KOREAN pop. (Actually, part of the project will be to launch new sites for a few other countries too, so if you are into anime, then you might find this interesting!.) And we are a BIG site - over 145,000 members with about 30,000 unique visitors a day.

We want someone who would like to work with an entertainment site cause we spend a lot of time playing with music videos, creating taxonomy for pop stars who are movie stars, singers and on TV...yea, sounds fun, right! We prefer someone who:

• has worked with larger drupal sites previously, but we we will be open minded for the right person.
• Must be able to work independently.
• And no, you don't have to be Asian =P dont be silly!
