Three copies of Drupal.org available for redesigning: Documentation, Information Architecture, Projects

Hello, we are going to make available three sites for teams to redesign.

1) Redesign of Drupal documentation. Documention on Drupal.org is one of the main areas for improvement according to the "State of Drupal 2007" survey. Fortunately, there's been a lot of work in Drupal 6 on the handbook module. We are going to make available a copy of Drupal.org that will be upgraded to Drupal 6 so we can start exploring how to make the handbook easier to work with. Please talk to Steven Peck if you are interested in redesiging this handbooks with Drupal 6.

2) Information architecture redesign. Drupal could do with a re-design of navigation(global, local, situation, contextual), workflow. If you are interested in information architecture let me know in this thread.

3) Project redesign. There's a LOT of great work being done with the project module, and project recommendations. If you are interested in redesigning project module and helping Derek and Chad get the project module upgraded for Drupal 6 read the thread and indicate you are joining their team.

Let's focus on forming redesigning team and when OSUOSL finishes setting up the redesign site we will hand out full admin privileges with anonymized data sets.
