Throughout history, great fortunes (financial and otherwise) have nearly all been created not by breakthrough inventions, but through the creative recombining of needs, people, ideas, and technology to bringing valuable innovations to waiting markets.

What if this recombinant process could be automated and scaled to take advantage of the web? The resulting scalable process of recombinant innovation would generate a continuing stream of revenue generating product definitions.

Edison Innovations has invented a sophisticated methodology for using modern technology to find out what the current market is waiting for. Our proprietary process of recombinant innovation reliably and consistently produces sizable new market opportunities, large cost reductions, and quality and service enhancements.

We’ve web-enabled the most successful invention factory in history, created by Thomas A. Edison. [Product sales directly resulting from Edison’s inventions (which include the phonograph and motion picture industry) are estimated to exceed $2 trillion annually.]

By researching what people would buy, if they could, and creatively recombining existing technology with new business models we meet market needs in new and more profitable ways. Our process is a new and improved method for generating intellectual property.

In addition to generating considerable revenue, our process will create thousands of jobs and dozens of new companies by developing new products faster, at lower costs, and with greater likelihood of success than currently available methods.

We have been operating in stealth mode for three years while testing and improving the components of our process. We are now ready to move it to the web. Think in terms of a virtual product development machine using distributed intelligence.

We are now accepting applications for a technology partner capable of building and maintaining the Web 2.0 community, including our web applications, that can do all our programming and IT work, as well as for the spin-off companies we create, and is well positioned to keep doing it for years to come.

The ideal partner would be firmly established, financially independent, and after being briefed on our project potential, eager to handle all our development work in exchange for a reasonable share in the royalty and equities derived by our system. They should be well versed in new product development processes, strong in databases and project management methodologies, and ideally have an understanding of and appreciation for the value of intellectual property.

We are not set on any particular platform and open to recommendations. Whatever the choices may be, the resulting system must be highly scalable and be able to handle and track tens of thousands of participants and track the activities of dozens of different product development projects simultaneously.

We are located in Sonoma county.
