Drupal Developer | MSDS

Founded in 1999, MSDS is a specialized branding and user experience design firm based in New York City. We are looking for a contract Drupal Developer to join our team on-site or telecommute for the next four months. Local candidates who can work on-site will have priority.

Qualifications

• Experienced with PHP4 and PHP5 OOP development methodologies
• Ability to implement end-to-end custom Drupal sites
• Experienced with custom Drupal module development
• Experienced with extending Drupal admin functionality with custom modules
• Has a good knowledge of the inner workings of Drupal such as database, PHPTemple, Form API, and Drupal Search Engine
• Has extensive working knowledge on parsing feeds such as XML, RSS, and Atom or has worked with open source search engines such as Lucene or Sphinx
• Source control experience, particularly Subversion
• Hands-on knowledge of standards-compliant HTML, XHTML, CSS, Javascript, DHTML, AJAX, and XML
• Knowledge of developing cross platform/browser compatibility in all A-Grade Browsers
• Adherence to web standards
