Cremation Options is a not-for-profit organization that provides dignified cremation services to families. Being among the country’s largest cremation organizations we are proud to be affiliated with numerous cremation providers-this enables our firm to assist families in need within every city and state throughout the country.

Our developmental website (which can be seen here: http://72.47.236.230/) is running Drupal 6. Our initial developer has left the project and we are needing to back-fill the position. Most of the site is complete, however we are missing some key taxonomy, navigation and mapping aspects to both IE and FF browsers, thus we are in dire need of an expert Drupal developer. The site performance is also a known issue as well, most likely due to too many modules being loaded and/or utilized. Once project has been completed, there will most likely be on-going Drupal update and maintenance work available to the contractor as well.

The following qualifications are requested for those that wish to become part of our freelance/development team.

  • Ability to implement end-to-end custom Drupal sites
  • Experienced with custom Drupal module development
  • Experienced with extending Drupal admin functionality with custom modules
  • Extensive experience in the architecture, development, and optimization of Drupal sites
  • Hands-on knowledge of standards-compliant HTML, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, DHTML, AJAX, and XML
  • Knowledge of developing cross platform/browser compatibility in all A-Grade Browsers
  • Adherence to web standards
