About Us

Help kids learn. Help teachers teach. Help parents raise their kids.

At Family Education Network, part of Pearson, we go to work each day to help kids, teachers and parents with online games, tools and information.

Our main kids' site, Funbrain.com, reaches 6 million kids every month with its collection of short, clever games in math, reading, and just plain fun. Recently launched PopTropica.com extends our reach with multiplayer mission-based games in a kid-safe context.

Infoplease.com combines statistics, facts, and historical records with a dictionary, atlas, and encyclopedia--an entire reference center at your fingertips. Fact Monster puts that information into a level kids can understand, and is a leading tween destination for homework help on the web.

Our teachers’ site, TeacherVision.com, reaches close to a half million teachers every month with timely teaching tips, graphic organizers, lesson plans, and other helpful hints for a challenging job.

Our parents’ site, FamilyEducation.com, offers engaging content in areas such as education, learning, activities, family entertainment, health, and nutrition to help parents find the answers they need to raise thriving, healthy children.

We've started using Drupal to make our sites more responsive and interactive. We need a good Drupal developer to take us further. If you have:

3+ years experience with web publishing in a LAMP environment;
Experience with XHTML/CSS/XML/XSL and Javascript programming;
Specific experience developing, deploying, and maintaining Drupal sites, including theming and module development;
A strong desire to code it today and launch it tomorrow;
Good communication skills, especially with non-technical people;

Then we're looking for you to join our small group of smart, committed developers.
