If you don't know what this is all about, check out the page on GHOP.

I've created a new tableless, CSS-based XHTML theme. It's a three-column, fluid layout, pictured to your right. No, it won't disappear into white like pictured, but it's still a good theme (in my opinion). If this seems exciting to you, read on...

Wow, this seems exciting!

Well, I'm glad you think so. If you want your own version of this theme, you can go and grab the theme through the GHOP issue page.

The theme should work on most modern browsers as of now. Wait, most?

Hey, is there a catch?

Well, yeah. The theme is almost complete, but I've got a couple of outstanding issues, including one big bug in IE7. (All the gory details are on the issue page in the link above). And, before you gripe that this theme borrowed a lot of elements from Garland, it's simply because I haven't gotten around to getting rid of the Garland-ness yet. The theme does take its layout code from Garland (because 1. I can't do fluid three-column layouts and 2. it works on IE 5.5) , though.

So, basically, since I can't solve this issue myself, I'd like to ask you, the community to help me solve it. Any takers?

I'd also like some comments on some other pressing matters, like:

  • Does the theme look good?
  • Is there enough contrast?
  • Can you find me a better name for the theme?

Enjoy!

Does it work with the Color module? That would probably help with the contrast.
