I just ran across the form filter module which is a nice UI based method of hiding form fields. Useful for hiding extra fields that may be confusing for users of your site. Has anyone messed with this one or can vouch for it? It seems like one of those modules that would be very useful and might even be a good candidate for an install profile if it's polished.
