I have made buttons for drupal.org users, to point to theirs profiles.
I wanted to upload it to cvs, but didnt find appropriate folder. Any help appreciated :)

Would it be appropriate to host these on Drupal.org and provide code snippets (on how to make the image link to your Drupal profile) in the handbook?

@matt, I think it would be fine. Not sure if the handbooks are the right place, it could be though. I like the idea, this is one way to support Drupal with no real effort.
