Drupal Web Developer (f/m)

Tasks and Responsibilities:
Working with a international team to create cutting-edge websites and web applications

Backend development:
- PHP Programming and web application development for a multilingual Drupal platform for marketing purposes
- Documentation

Frontend development:
- Creating HTML/CSS Drupal themes
- Dynamic sampling of page elements with the help of Java Script, jQuery and AJAX
- Planning and implementation of front-end solutions in collaboration with the corresponding team members
- Testing, maintenance and troubleshooting of the platform

Job-related Requirements:

PROFESSIONAL:

  • Excellent PHP programming skills, with professional work experience in Drupal
  • Proficient in SQL and MySQL
  • Knowledge about Drupal core
  • Experience with development of custom Drupal modules and features
  • Experience with Drupal theming including Drupal themeing override functions
  • Good knowledge in javascript and jquery framework
  • Experience integrating open source and third party applications into existing systems
  • skills in w3c validated XHTML/CSS
  • Willing to learn and apply new software development tools, technologies, and methodologies
  • Education: Computer Science OR comparable long-time job experience
  • Foreign languages: English (business fluent), further languages advantageous
  • Experience with project management tools
