I'm (sadly) leaving my current position as Lead Web Developer at BuildingGreen, LLC in Brattleboro, VT and we're seeking an immediate replacement (see description below) with the hope that we can overlap for a time. BuildingGreen, LLC of Brattleboro, VT is seeking a multi-talented Lead Web Developer to support and enhance our web-based content management systems and order management applications.
The ideal candidate should have demonstrated experience with all aspects of web development: nuts and bolts programming; web application architecture and security; server configuration and tuning; and project management. Strong preference will be given to candidates with significant previous experience developing Drupal-based web sites and applications. You will be leading the development and enhancement of direct revenue generating web-based products, not just tending to brochure-ware.

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 4+ years experience developing, configuring and maintaining database driven web sites using the LAMP stack.
• 4+ years experience with PHP and MySQL development
• 1+ years experience with Drupal module development and advanced theme-ing.
• Previous experience supporting and maintaining e-commerce applications.
• Demonstrated experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and JavaScript libraries (i.e. jQuery, Prototype) and cross-browser development.
• Demonstrated experience gathering requirements from users, scoping and planning development projects and setting and meeting project deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Demonstrated ability to direct the work of sub-contractors and junior developers.
• Excellent communication skills and the desire to work directly with non-technical staff, customers and clients.
Desired Qualifications:
• Experience with Ubercart.
• Experience with ColdFusion and/or SQL Server.
• Experience with XML and XSLT.
• Experience with Photoshop and other Adobe CS applications.
• Experience supporting or developing content management, customer service and/or accounting applications.
• Experience working with creative professionals in a publishing and/or content production environment.
• Experience working with or for mission-driven organizations.
